I'm Amanda!
I'm a Southern Utah Photographer that loves eating clean, smoothies, and beautiful sunsets.
I am constantly in the kitchen creating what my family now calls "Amanda's Surprise" for dinner. Some of my surprises are great and some are not!
I love jumping on the tramp with my kids on a summer's eve, the beach, and laughing hysterically at myself because I'm a hot mess 90% of the time.
My Life...
Life is messy, especially mine! I have four kids and I sure wish that I had it all together. I gave up trying a looong time ago + now I'm fully embracing the Beauty Behind Life's Chaos.
One thing I love to look back on is our photos. My kids flip through albums weekly and talk about the memories in them.
My childhood wasn't all Skittles and rainbows + I am beyond proud to give my kids a good one and capture memories that spark joy.
When life gets hard and messy, I want the images we create to be the happy memories that put a smile on your face.
My Why...
Childhood for me was running around with a camera in my hand at all times and scrapbooking everything I captured. My mom went through two divorces and life got a little rough, but my photos brought me so much joy.
I photographed so much on disposable cameras until I turned 15. My Grandma got me my first film camera and I ran with it!
I took pictures of anything and everything + dreamed of one day being a photographer. Our poor animals put up with me and my Anne Geddes styled shoots.
Looking back on the photos I took growing up brings me so much joy. Those messy photos are everything to me. It is the Beauty Behind Life's Chaos where real happiness lies.
The real, the raw + unfiltered emotion of a moment captured means the world. It is your tangible reminder of the love + relationships your family shares even after someone is gone.
I can't wait to show you the beauty I see in you + show the love and happiness you have for each other in your photos.
