Cedar City Fall Family Photographer | D Family

Gosh, it was so much fun to be able to see this little lady again + meet her dad! I took her Newborns about eight months ago and Dad couldn't make it so it was fun to meet everyone this time around. Mama reached out and you better believe I was excited! She was wanting some fall photos taken before they move out of town and I am so grateful for the opportunity. There's nothing I love more than watching all of your littles grow up. Avery is such a busy little girl! She was not keen on being held and just wanted to play with the leaves. We had to entertain her with Daddy's truck keys during the session so I guess you could say that she's got things figured out in life ;) Mom and dad were so fu

Motherhood Session | Cedar Breaks Photographer | Southern Utah

Gosh you guys, the curveballs that life might throw at us... we just never know where or when it comes from. All we can do is the best we can when it arrives. I had such a wonderful time getting to know this mama and her daughter. They've been through a rough time and to suddenly become a single mom trying to do life is rough. I've gotta say that she is doing a great job and her daughter is darling! We did a motherhood session with the fall colors which is what she wanted and I'm telling ya, the mountains never disappoint. It was so fun to chat dream chasing and learning all the things this mama wants to do. I've gotta say that no matter where you are in life, chase those dreams. It might se

Fall Family Mountain Session | Cedar City Photographer

Gah, this family was a dream! I released my Fall Family Mini Sessions to my email subscribers and this mama booked within 15 minutes! ha They have a cabin here and come up to visit on the weekends. This weekend just so happened to be the first time they have seen Grandma and Grandpa in 9 months and you better believe that I was so excited to capture these memories for them. We never know what the world might hold and images are the icing on the cake when it comes to memories if you ask me. They are the last bit we can hold onto physically, tangible history. We had so much fun during their session. Lots of laughs and plenty of teasing. I love meeting all of you happy-go-lucky people that just

One-Year Cake Smash | Southern Utah Studio Photographer

Seriously, there is nothing I love more than celebrating milestones with you mamas out there! This pandemic has caused some serious crazy in the world, but I am so grateful to be able to offer some normalcy in people's lives. This mama has been stuck here since February with her main squeeze back home in another country. What she thought was going to be a trip to visit family has now turned into a long-term stay with no end in sight yet. I was so excited when she reached out to do a Cake Smash Session for her sweet girl and thank heavens technology allowed Dad to take part as well. I photographed her several months ago with her mama and you better believe I was more than happy to capture her

A few of my favorite self help books | Southern Utah Photographer

I've been on a self help quest my entire life. Collecting quotes I loved to lift me up, listening to Podcasts wherever I go, and loving Audible so that I can now listen to books everywhere. Ever since I was a kid I've had a goal of owning my own business. I never knew what that business may be, but I loved Photography. We used to put our kittens on our "set" and dress them up Anne Geddes style, but that's beside the point. My childhood wasn't the ideal childhood that we all dream of having. My mom divorced twice and my entire family fell apart when I was 18 years old. My collection of quotes followed me through my life and eventually turned into reading books upon books + listening to any se
