You guys, this girl. This girl has a heart of gold and is one of the most talented people I've ever met! She is a brilliant designer and beautiful singer... and she bakes beautiful delicacies that she has learned through her travel to many countries.
I could not be more grateful to call Lindsey my friend and I am so glad we were able to strike up a conversation while she was cutting fabric for me at Joann's a few years ago.
Since then, she has brought one of my dress designs to life, allowed me to see her create her amazing costume creations, allowed me to photograph her on more than one occasion, and gave me the opportunity to attend her graduation + watch her perform. She has a heart of gold and is so beautiful inside and out. I am grateful I get to call her my friend.
She has such a passion for singing and loved it so much. I was so excited when she called to ask me if I would take her graduation photos for her. You better believe I said yes and we both had the exact same idea in our minds.
When I think Opera, I think Snow Canyon. The red rock is so grand + fit the bill perfectly and when she decided to go with a royal blue dress for the occasion, it was the perfect contrast in colors to make her look absolutely stunning!
She was a trooper and she is fierce. It was a random snowy day during winter in St George and even though we froze our buns off, we had such a fun time.
After we finished our final photos in the flurries, we ran to the car laughing and headed off to In N Out for some girl chat to end the shoot!
As I look back on this session it just brings me right back around to my word for the year.... "Intention." This is the year that I make the time for friends, for family, and for you.
We all deserve a little time to be seen, heard, and understood so let's make 2020 one full of intentionally spending more time with those that matter most.
