Gosh, it was so much fun to be able to see this little lady again + meet her dad! I took her Newborns about eight months ago and Dad couldn't make it so it was fun to meet everyone this time around.
Mama reached out and you better believe I was excited! She was wanting some fall photos taken before they move out of town and I am so grateful for the opportunity. There's nothing I love more than watching all of your littles grow up.
Avery is such a busy little girl! She was not keen on being held and just wanted to play with the leaves. We had to entertain her with Daddy's truck keys during the session so I guess you could say that she's got things figured out in life ;)
Mom and dad were so fun to be around and chat with during the session. It's nice when you find those people that jive + you can feel all the good vibes between them. I mean, I also love it when Dads are good sports about having photos taken. Believe me, I've had a few that weren't and it can make the session tricky sometimes.
Most Dad's that aren't into the whole idea typically leave and tell me that the session was actually fun! My goal is to have you leave your session feeling like you just had a good time with your family. It gets hard to take the time out to slow down and just be present. The good thing about a photo shoot is no phones are allowed because they show in your pockets.
No temptation + being present where your feet are planted is a win in my book!
These two worked well as a team tossing Avery around and taking turns keeping her happy. She LOVES to swing and Canyon Park was the perfect backdrop for all the things their family loves.
If you have a place that you love, let's make that time spent together happen and I'll capture all the little moments for you!
