Seriously this is one of my favorite sessions to date. This family are some of the kindest people I've met and this little girl.... a complete doll!
I could have not been more excited when they called to schedule a family session. Janna was so fun to talk to + she's hilarious and has such a big heart.
The first thing their little lady said to me when she got out was what was on her "chonies!" ha She is certainly a little spit-fire with a lot of spunk. These days I think they have to be to survive in this world + one day be a leader in some way, shape, or form.
There was the most adorable relationship between Gwynn and her parents. She loved them so much + they loved her more than life itself. Who couldn't, aren't toddlers such a fun age group? I have a four year old + she is a blast... most of the time anyways!
Kids are always so full of life + never afraid to let their true colors shine. Most days I wish I could have a little more of that inside me. I'm working on it.... we all strive to be ourselves, but then little things hold us back such as fear of what others think. Boy, if we could just keep the mentality we had as kids... we would be unstoppable right?!
It is always so fun to me to chat with families during our time together. Turns out, these guys have been to Thailand and we are going in April. I asked them for their best advice and other than purchasing some compression socks for the plane, Janna told me, "Don't ask what the food is, just eat it!" ha She said the food is actually quite delightful as long as you don't know what it actually is so here's to eating without question + hoping I survive it!
Anyways, I hope you all had such a wonderful holiday season spending time with those who mean the most. Here's to starting the new year off with more positivity in life + striving to reach others up whenever the opportunity arises.
