Oh my goodness guys, can you even handle this? These guys are such an adorable family and I have had a wonderful time photographing Billie Jean's pregnancies, Newborns, their dog, and little Rylie Jane on more than one occasion.
We will just say that Capone (their dog) was on much better behavior this go round than he was the last! ha It's always funny to me because dogs are just like humans and when we took their family photos the first time, he was still a pup! If you can imagine the chaos! haha Hey, we did get the shot!
This session was a blast. We had originally scheduled it for the end of February, but this baby girl had other plans! She ended up delivering a few weeks early, but not before spending a few days in the hospital in Provo with them trying to stop her labor.
They got her contractions to die down enough and told them to drive straight home and she should make it! Oh man, she said that was terrifying! ha They did make it only to deliver a day or two later if I remember correctly.
She delivered Rylie Jane within a few hours of labor beginning so they were so nervous driving home, but happy to have made it and deliver here with her doc.
Miss Gemma is so, so loved already. Mom said Rylie Jane loves to hold her and sometimes tries to be too helpful! ha Does anyone else remember having your second? I sure remember the days of hoping I can help them survive their older sibling and somehow they do!
She was so good during their session and barely made a peep. She had a full tummy and a warm room. The rest of us may have been sweating, but she was happy as a clam!
I cannot wait until we are photographing both of these girls with their dog. I always love when clients bring them because to me, they are just as much a part of the family.
