Pivoting in Business

What would you tell a woman if they were worried to make that pivot? That small step? Would you encourage her, or tell her to give it all up? That would be crazy! Of course you’d push her along the way to chase her dreams, right?

Life is too short to not chase your dreams. Take the leap and see where it leads. If it doesn’t light you up, you can pivot again! If you’re working hard at your passion, you will be successful at it!

Don’t be afraid to pivot. It can seem scary to change your mind, but if you just go for it, and take small steps, you will still reach your dreams. Pivots are what make change.

This is my life to live -- this is no one else’s!

Ask advice from the RIGHT people. Find a mentor, a friend, a coach, someone who’s been where you want to go. Take them to lunch and just chat with them!

There are always options if you are looking for them. We look at these pivots like they are huge changes in the direction we want to go in life. What typically starts as an uphill battle, is going to get you to the top of the mountain at some point!

Don’t hesitate. Don’t stop. Don’t let your old habits start creeping back in. If you do, you’ll be 5 years down the road in the exact same spot, still doing the thing that you love, and wondering what if.

TODAY, if you’ve been dreaming of a dream, wanting to make a career change, DO IT NOW. You can’t get the time back, so don’t miss out! What if it’s that thing you absolutely love pouring your heart into? Once you’re on the top of the mountain, you’ve made it! It gets easier with every step of the way.

You will start by putting one foot in front of the other, knowing nothing. But you will get there. You will get to where you want to go. Do whatever you want to do! Let’s pull each other up and take the first step. Brave the mountain you’ve been dreaming of climbing!

Write your goals down. See that target every single morning, and know it takes one task towards your goal a day. One day, you’ll say, “Here I am! Look what I just did!”
